Six? Why not make it 7?
Honestly Microsoft, what are you doing?
I’ve read several positive reviews about the upcoming release of Windows 7 and had planned on dusting off the old PC and installing the beta version to “take it for a test drive.” But low and behold, Microsoft is up to their old tricks.
Instead of learning from their Vista mistakes, they are at it again as PC World Magazine notes that there will be SIX! versions of Windows 7 for consumers to choose from. I mean really, why not just top it up to 7 to coincide with the release name?
It also turns out that the release name has been “fudged” as well and this actually isn’t the 7th version of windows either (it’s actually 6.1). I have a feeling Microsoft will be dolling out even more money on advertising this time around.
